Elite Kids Academy Graduation 2008

Lexi we are all so very proud of your accomplishment. We have so many wonderful memories of you in the first 5 years of your life that we will cherish a lifetime and we can't wait to have many years more. You are growing into our lovely little girl but you will always be our baby. God knew the desires of hearts when he gave us that special little girl we dreamed of having complete our family 5 years ago. You are as "Beautiful as a Butterfly" - now spread your wings and fly...

Lexi loves her friends - life would not be the same without Makena - Chloe & Caroline she looks forward to each day playing with them and the rest of her friends.

Lexi receiving her diploma for sucessfully completing 4-K at Elite Kids Academy. Mrs. Nicole was Lexi's teacher she loves her so much.

NYC - The BIG Apple

WOW - I am speechless... We arrived at the airport as a Limo waited to take us into the Big City!!! We stayed in the middle of "Time Square" - what an experience I will never forget. There was so much to do and so little time, this is defintely one place I want to come back to. The people were all nice, not what I expected when they found out we were from the South they were even more friendly. We rode the Subway and did not get mugged LOL... That is what you always think of because in the movies nothing good ever happens on the Subway. We went to SoHo where Heath Ledger lived/died a couple of weeks before. Chinatown, what an experience - Mike had a big laugh at me - he said when I would talk to the the Chinesse people I would start talking like them ($35 dollar) - I did not even realize it - and he was sure to not tell me until it was all said and done and we were back at the hotel. Oh well they understood me LOL.... We did a lot of walking and shopping... It is a Shoppers Paradise stores for miles and you never reach the end. We had dessert one night 65 stories in the air at the top of "Rockefellar Center" overlooking the City - you could see forever it was beautiful... The day we left it was so windy however clear - by the time we were leaving to board the plane a snow storm came in - I have never seen anything like it, needless to say we missed our flight from Dallas back home that day. I could go on and on but I won't I think you will get an idea of our trip from the blogs.

New York Times voted #1 Mac n Cheese. The best I have ever eaten, they of course would not give their recipe, not like the Mac n Cheese we are used to...

Beginning of the snow storm in NYC just before we were to take off Sunday. Needless to say they had to de-ice the plane and then we had to stop off in Nashville for fuel so we did not make it home :( until the next day...

Bransen & Tonya at "Grease" waiting the anticipation - ready to get the show on the road...

"Grease on Broadway"

As most of you know, I received tickets from my WONDERFUL husband at Christmas time for the Grease show. It was above and beyond what I expected, we were sitting on the 4th row, I could have got up there and danced the night away with them. Mike and I watched the reality TV show back in the summer - NBC was looking for the newest cast members of Sandy & Danny to be on Broadway in NYC. We were huge fans of the show and voted with America for our 2 favorites which were Max & Laura they ultimately became the the new Sandy & Danny. So when we saw them on stage we felt like we already knew them - before they became famous.

Bransen & Tonya went with us to NYC. Tonya was just as excited to see Grease as I was - the last time we all went on a trip to Nashville she and I watched the movie "Grease" on the way back home before we were interrupted by a slowing vehicle that ran out of gas on the interstate - poor Bransen he had to jog 2 miles back to the last exit for gas in the middle of the night - a night we will not forget...LOL

"Grease Lightening"

Where a Kid can be a Kid!!!

The Toy's R Us Store in Times Square was 3 stories, with a huge farris wheel right in the center - to bad we didn't have the kids that would have been a blast to ride.

We could see this M&M store out of our hotel room as well as the Hershey's Store. The M&M store was 3 stories - I was in "M&M Heaven"...
